Daniel Traficonte

Traficonte is a PhD student in the International Development Group in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. His interests are in industrial and innovation policy, labor rights, and intellectual property. In addition to his work with the Industrial Performance Center, Traficonte has done work at MIT on development-induced displacement in India and housing discrimination law in the US. Before starting his PhD, Traficonte worked for the World Bank and the US Department of Commerce. He has a law degree from Harvard Law School and is admitted to the Massachusetts bar.
